The ten semester Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree is
being replaced with an eleven-semester non-baccalaureate MLA degree program
for undergraduate students.
Those undergraduate students applying to the landscape
architecture program should go to the K-State Graduate Catalogue at

Advising/Mentoring
Each Landscape Architecture and Planning student is assigned an
advisor/mentor. As an advisor, the faculty member will provide
guidance to the student in the selection of courses to assist them toward
meeting their educational goals. As a mentor, the faculty member will
be available to discuss career opportunities, internship directions, provide
suggested readings etc. Students should inquire in the department
office if they do not know the name of their advisor/mentor.

engineering, related to the sitting of buildings and
organizing circulation patterns (roads, walks, bicycles)
